I have done
ejb , jms , rmi , corba in
java I am wondering
if their is an equivalent for technologies for other languages such as python , perl , fortran ,....etc
I know c/c++ has corba and corba is suppose to be language neutral way of calling remote procedures or methods.
So every language at least should have the ability to use corba to call remote procedures/functions
But I don't know if their is an equivalent to the other technologies listed like rmi or ejb for other languages even for c/c++.
my understanding of the java technologies is that they are all created at the foundation level thru corba but wondering if the other languages create high level libraries / abstractions equivalent to ejb, rmi .... or maybe it is just corba /serialization for c/c++ . perl , ruby , cobol , ada ,...etc
digram of java abstraction levels
