recommend a book or books for servlet and jsp to become a master in these concepts .please also tell me about addition if there can be any issue of updated knowledge

[i am asking this because often it takes too much time to implement suggestions friends provide ]

Head First Servlets and JSP is popular. Be aware that coverage of scriptlets is for historical purposes. Scriptlets should no longer be used in modern JSPs.
