Hi All,

I successfully cleared the OCMJEA 5 certification today. I got the much cherished "1%" mail last night which is technically today.

I already knew about my results beforehand as I had got an email from ITS Support about 4 days ago that a score report is available. I went and checked in pearson website ( http://www.pearsonvue.com/oracle). In my exam history, against 1Z0-865 , (Step 2, Assignment ) when I viewed the score report, it showed my score as 143/160 (passing score being 114)

I also checked in CertView.Oracle.com. The status of my exams were -
Step 3 Essay - Taken
Step 2 Assignment - Passed
Step 1 - Passed

I was still .1% unsure about my results as I had not received the "Congratulations! You have passed the Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification. You are among the elite 1% of certified Java professionals who have gone on to achieve the Java Enterprise Architect certification." email from architect-submit_US@oracle.com that everybody talks about. Now that I got that too, I can proudly say that I am an Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect

Luckily, the wait for me was not too long compared to some others who have had to wait for as long 3 months or more. I took my Step 1 exam(1Z0-864) on Aug 2 2011. I submitted my Step 2 assignment (1Z0-865) on Sept 12 2011. I took my Step 3 essay (1Z0-866) on Sept 17 2011. I knew my score on Oct 10 2011 which is approx 3 weeks. It came as a sweet surprise as I was mentally prepared for a 2012 results declaration !

My assignment was Dreamcar.

I cannot thank enough everybody at this forum ! But for this forum, I wonder if I would have passed ! My heartfelt thanks to all previous exam takers who wrote about their experiences and which helped me a lot. My thanks to all those who manage such a wonderful forum and keep it active and clean !

and now party time....
