Hi,

I'm using rich:editor for one of the fields.
when i try to perform JS Validation check, its value is always found as undefined.
Please help.
I tried to refer the field as foloows:
document.getElementById('fieldName').value

Can any one please help ? It is an issue which i need to close asap.

I think that there are some rich:editor attributes and/or support methods that will do what you want in a more control-friendly way. The Rich Editor is actually a complex control based on a non-JSF version of a rich text editor, so just treating it like a TextArea control won't work.
