Do you live in the Seattle area? Are you interested in getting in on the ground floor of a great new website idea (and maybe getting rich)? If you answered yes to BOTH of those questions, please read till the end...

Have you ever heard (or thought) this before: "I have this great idea for a website that is gonna make me rich!"? It may sound cliche, but that is my claim and, in my case, I believe it to be true. I have an incredible idea for a website that is just dying to become the next big internet monster. I'm not going to divulge the idea here, of course, but I will say that the idea is completely legal and moral (no porn, gambling, scams or any of that crap). I'm looking for other developers who are interested in partnering in on my website venture. I am currently in the process of getting all of the legal aspects of a startup in order. I do intend to maintain ownership of the IP, so there are some obvious precautions that I intend to put in place first. I hope to get this off of the ground without capital investors, which means I can't offer a paycheck. What I will offer, however, can be something much better; shares of the business-to-be and (if all goes well) a very early retirement. I am currently only looking for developers located in Seattle because I intend to meet anybody interested in person first.

I'm looking for developers with experience in at least some of the technologies listed in the following stack (JSF2 stronly preferred):
JSF2
PostgreSQL
MongoDB
Tomcat (negotiable)
css / JavaScript / jQuery
Linux

If all goes well, the site will be high traffic (on pace with Amazon or eBay, maybe even facebook someday) and will host many gigs worth of data.

I know this all sounds insanely ambitious, but I assure you that I am not some dilusional quack. This is a great idea and the sooner we can get this site online, the better our chances of dominating what will be an entirely (well, mostly) new online market.

About me:
My name is Darrin Huit, I am a software engineer living in Seattle, WA. I've spent most of my career working with Microsoft technologies but recently dove head-first into Java, though I have a LOT to learn still. I am more of a backend db guy. I know html, css & jQuery but could use a lot of help with JSF-specific things. Help in all other areas would be nice too, especially if you've already been involved in a startup.

Please contact me if you're interested!
