getting the index no of the radio button in layout collections

Hi friends,
I'm getting the values and populating the values from javabean. i'm using the radio button along with collection. how to get the index of the selected radio button. Help needed quick please....

FYI:
The code goes like....

<table width="100%" border="5">
<layout ager maxPageItems="5" >
<layout:collection name="A" styleClass="FORM"
selectType="radio" selectProperty="pass" styleClass2="gr_td_left2">
<layout:collectionItem title="LoginName" property="name" sortable="true"/>

What technology are you using?
<layout.../> isn't part of JSP or JSTL.
