I imagine it going like this. You ask your colleague what the time is. He or she doesn't know, so asks another colleague, who also doesn't know, and asks the next one, and so on, until it goes around the whole building, and the last colleague then asks you.

Then may I suggest Mondaine's "Don't Rush" watch? It has all the hour markings, as well as five-minute increments. It just has no minute hand...
