I could not believe how Netherlands lost to Denmark in a match where Netherlands was dominating. Looks like this team runs out of luck. Did anyone watch the Mc Donalds advertisement where they show German fans and Dutch fans racing in a bus and the Dutch take the lead in the race but head in a wrong direction and finally Germans win the Mc Donalds meal. Sort of a coincidence with the Euro 2012.

Germany. Like always.
That The Netherlands lost really bothers me because they stand with their backs against a wall in their next match. And this match happens to be against us. There are already statisticians riding around on some of unlucky second games Germany had in tournaments in the past.

Yes! It was just a trick to get Germany out. We will win the next two matches, You wont get passed Denmark, and The Netherlands and Denmark qualify for the next round. It was great acting of our boys, but it's all fake, we lost deliberately, to annoy you. :-)

Every time I support England in any major tournament, they get out in the qualifiers

Still England all the way... Rooney will be back after the next game and lets see what the impact is. They have a good defense and an excellent goalkeeper in Joe Hart..

If France slumps, they have a good possibility of progressing to the next round.

I don't think he was that bad. Petr Cech last night: now that's a terrible mistake.

It's been a long time since the English squad accomplished anything to speak of.

Ok, the Netherlands is, 99% sure, out. I will follow the rest of the tournament on video text. I will read the end results! It's over! I will wait for the Dutch competition to start in August.

That's an odd decision - there might (almost certainly will) still be good games that are worthwhile watching. Are you only interested in one particular team, not in the sport as such?

More or less, yes. For example I only watch the Dutch league (Eredivisie), not the Primera Division, not the Bundesliga. I do not care. And if the Dutch teams are out of the Euro League or Champions League, I do not watch any games anymore. I have to have an emotional binding with the team or the player. I'd rather watch N.E.C. - Nac Breda, than Real Madrid against Barcelona. It's a fact.

But especially now, it's also just too painful. It's a national disgrace.

It's just a game and Netherlands has a load of wonderful players to watch...

The way the played yesterday, I think they don't need Messi to win the tournament. They are too good in their short passes

Trust me! For the Dutch it is not 'just a game'. I would not buy any wooden shoes or tulips made on a day after we have lost a match. Their quality, statistically proven, goes down. And no I am still not going to watch any football any more until the Eredivisie starts.

If you do not understand, you see our coach Bert van Marwijk, under a KNVB cap, KNVB is our football association, presenting 'der Untergang', how would you translate that in English? The downfall?

It's really good we do not have a honor suicide tradition like the Japanese! We all be chewing cyanide pills now!
