can anyone tell me how session tracking is done in servlet's.
i read, and as far as i came to know is, in servlet's it's container's responsibility to do session tracking, we only need to activate the session??
i mean there are few mechanism for session tracking in java (ie. url rewriting, hidden fields, httpsession, cookies), but as i know it's up to container what it choose for session tracking, we only activate it, isn't it??

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
