You don't understand what William was saying.
Either this is a String or an image;
it can't be both. What it looks like to me is an
image viewed through a text editor (like Notepad) or possibly a
Java console.

Simply put: if this is in a Java String, you probably can't.
What you
can do though is read
the image the way it was meant to be read; ie, as a stream of bytes. Once you have that, you can save it to an output file very easily by simply copying the bytes. What might be more difficult is working out what
type of image it is (JPEG, GIF, etc).
