Hi All,

Can the tomcat comand prompt work similar to windows services ??? such that there would be no cmd prompt running in current task manager...!

if there could be any possible solutions/suggestions please let me know.

If the tomcat runs like windows servies (such that there would be no current process running to a particular user in windows), this can help me to solve the shutdown of cmd prompt of tomcat all the time when a different user logins into the system as one user needs to logg off so that another user uses the system.

thanks in advace.

I'm not sure what you mean. Tomcat can work as as Windows services, in which it never has a command prompt at all, and a lot of people run it that way.

To run Tomcat from a command prompt at though it was a Windows service is a somewhat different matter, as is starting a Windows Service from a command prompt.
