Hi everybody,

I have developed an app in java using myEclipse. It works well in local, then I have committed the changes to my CVS and from another machine I am running an ant script in order to be able to work with the app online. But the ant script launches this error

class file has wrong version 50.0, should be 49.0
Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath.

In local I am using :

C:\>java -version
java version "1.6.0_24"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_24-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.1-b02, mixed mode)

and in the remote machine I am using:

C:\>java -version
jC:\build scripts\admintool>java -version
java version "1.6.0_23"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_23-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode)

I have clean up the project and still I get this error

Any tip, please?

Many Thanks

This error means that you have compiled your code with JDK version 6, but you are trying to run it on Java 5. You should check on the machine that you're trying to run it on, if you're really using Java 6. Do you also have Java 5 installed on that machine somewhere?
