I want to add a particular jar file to classpath in which the required class is available. Then how can i know the jar file name in which the class is available?

Thank you!

if you are using eclipse, then just Ctrl+Click on the Class from your Code, which will show the jar

Who/What referred you to that class in first place? I mean, how did you know that, that class exists?

You could either use Jarfinder to find the jar or write a simple Unix command to recursively search a number of jar files for a given class name.

Hi,

If you want to check yourself, then extract the jar file and then do a search on the extracted folder.
