How can i check Java DB is installed or not.

Is there any command to check it .I'm using WindowsXP.

look for a JavaDB folder in your JRE installation or if you have glassfish app server, under there. BTW JavaDB uses port 1527

2 ways to get/install:
1) comes with JDK/JRE (re-run the install file)
2) as separate install independent from the JDK/JRE Apache Derby DB
