Could anyone please tell me what's wrong the the following query because of which I am getting "Date Format not recognized" error :
insert into delete_after_use values (to_date('Fri May 28 00:10:43 IST 2009', 'DY MON DD HH24:MI:SS TZR YYYY'));

I guess IST is not a valid TZR. Problem was solved using the following :
insert into delete_after_use values (to_date('Fri May 28 00:10:43 IST 2009', 'DY MON DD HH24:MI:SS "IST" YYYY'));
