I'm trying to use spring-beans at
servlet startup , and everything works perfectly, except that I'm not able to access static members.
Here's my Spring context.xml:
here's my "bean":
If I set the getters and setters to non-static, Spring loads fine. However, I need the getters and setters to be static, for use elsewhere in my code, but Spring-beans doesn't seem to like that. The specific error I get at startup is:
No setter found for property 'contentBase' in class 'org.roach.ExecutionContext'
No setter found for property 'dataAccessDriver' in class 'org.roach.ExecutionContext'
Am I doing something wrong? Or does Spring-beans simply not support static members?
