Get the database values into combo box item list at runtime

Hi Everyone,
I want to get the names from the database into combo box list of items how can i do it?

I have tried it by using the following code but am not getting it, So please help me with it am stuck at this point.

String query= "Select customer_name from mm_customerrecords";
			rs=stmt.executeQuery(query);
	
			while(rs.next())
			{
				System.out.println(rs.getString(1));
				
				
				custName.addItem(rs.getString(1));
			}

Are you getting any exception / error ?
Is there any data in the table "mm_customerrecords" ?
