--> Is production support is good choice for your career?
Why not ? To each his own. I'm sure there is always an application out there that needs Production support.
--> Is production support has a growth chances as development in their respective fields?
--> Is this possible to move from support to development?
If the company allows you to jump ship to a development project, then yes.
--> Is production support and development are same(monetary wise)?
This depends. When you are in the same company, it would not matter what project you are on. You get paid the same. Even otherwise the intricacies of production support are somewhat undervalued at times. A system engineer maintaining a custom linux kernel might have to think a lot more than an application development engineer writing a BINGO program. Its hard to say without knowing the nature of the role.
--> If we want to make our career in support only then this will affect our growth opportunities?
The more exposure you have, the better are your growth opportunities. Exposure comes in many ways.
