Hello all,

The ResultSet, Connection, Statement are all interfaces in java. Where are there actual implementaions defined ?

When we call createStatement() or execuiteQuery() what subclass of those classes are returned in actual?

They're part of the JDBC driver in use. You can find out the actual class name of any object by calling "getClass().getName()" on it.
