How can I perform OCR on an image in which I need character to be extracted out from an image in JSP. I found various SDK's but they are based for desktop application. Any SDK or procedure or Code to apply the same in JSP

A JSP is certainly not the right place to be doing this. If you have existing SDKs that do this, you should be able to use them in the Java classes of your web app.

JSP should be used only to generate the views -- not to process data.
