Hello Eric, welcome to the ranch!

First I'm wondering what are some of the libraries explained in the book, and if you explore in some way the integration with other environments, as I come from other interpreted server-side scripting languages (Php, Python, Ruby), it is very interesting for me to know about best practices to integrate them with JavaScript libraries or frameworks.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer all our questions,

Cheers!

See this post for an overview of libraries and frameworks explored in the book.

I don't go into any detail about how to integrate with other languages such as PHP, Ruby, etc... Instead, the focus is on building Applications in JavaScript, including the advantage of building the full stack using nothing but JavaScript (with Node and Express on the back end).
