Need help with a specific technical word/term

Hello everyone,

The problem is pretty ridiculous, I can't find a correct generic term that represents quantities or result of statistical studies in IT (of users, operations, or just anything), that should be used as a section for technical proposal for development of a web application).

In most cases the word may define results of statistical analysis, but it also could be a number of operations per second, number of application users, etc. The general idea is that this word should be generic, without any specific inclination to any type of data.

In my particular case the section in my proposal contains the number of medical consultations and laboratory studies per year, as well as an approximate total of medical specialists and nurses in state. This information has a high influence on the architecture of my application so it has to be included.

In Spanish the word "Volumetría" is commonly used in these cases. Though "Volumetrics" in English has a slightly different meaning... I'm totally lost... =P

Any ideas?

I belived 'Metric‎' is the word that properly addresses this type of data generally. As your proposal would be dealing with multiple variable data sources, Metrics will be an appropriate term.

Thanks for your quick answer.

Though "metrics" as far as I know represents a standardized system of numeric-based evaluation which sways away from the definition I was looking for. Still I may be wrong.

Just checked the wiki definition. Seems this is the correct term. Thanks again =)
