Design Pattern

Hi folks,
I wanted to know we could identify which design pattern is used in a project.Say a Decorator or an Observer or a Factory.Is there any specific way these design pattern's skeleton are written?

I'm not sure how to answer this as one could write a book about patterns. And many people have.

Each pattern has distinctive features. Such as decorator. You have to look at the code though. There isn't a scanner or something to search code for patterns.
