Viewpart is not disposed.

Hello Experts,

I have created one viewpart in navigator perspective, and added the eclipse selection listener as -

// The listener we register with the selection service
    private ISelectionListener listener = new ISelectionListener()
    {
        public void selectionChanged( IWorkbenchPart sourcepart, ISelection selection )
        {
            // we ignore our own selections
            if ( sourcepart != CreateOrUpdateView.this )
            {
                 // code here to update the myview
            }
        }
    };

and the code to dispose the view is (in eclipse selection listener)-

 if ( !( sourcePart instanceof PrimaryView ) )
        {
           //remove the listener
           this.dispose();
            return;
   }

but the view is not disposed when swich from current view to any another view..


Please provide your thoughts on it.

PlatformUI.getWorkbench().getActiveWorkbenchWindow().addPerspectiveListener( iPerspectiveListener );

and did all the chagnes I need in

  public void perspectiveChanged( IWorkbenchPage page, IPerspectiveDescriptor perspective, String changeId )
        {
        }
  @Override
        public void perspectiveActivated( IWorkbenchPage page, IPerspectiveDescriptor perspective )
        {
}

method.
