For those who don't know,
The first edition of the
Java
Pocket Guide was translated to German:
http://shop.oreilly.com/product/9783897215467.do
And I was notified that Portuguese and Russian versions of the book may also be in the works.

I tried to see Polish version.
Is there something wrong with my browser or is the encoding on oreilly.com site broken?

Unless you have the same browser as me, it is the encoding. I tried Unicode (default on Firefox) and two versions of central European and no luck.
