I am reading Head first JSP and servlets for SCWCD. I couldnt get the servlet example on page 30 to run.

The web.xml



The book tells you to to create a directory webapps in the tomcat directory and within which you have a directory called ch1 which has the WEB-INF directory. My tomcat port number is 9999 . When i try to run http://localhost:9999/ch1/Serv1 i get 404. Please help

Changing the iso code to ISO-8859-1 helped...Error in the book
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
