Recently I am java developer and working for a software firm since 1.5 year. I know few basic topic in java(like class,object,interface etc). I want to build my career in java virtual machine tuning, performance tuning.java code tuning. i want to become well grounded java developer and want to know all advance topic in detail (ilike thread,serialization etc with merit and demerit,comparatively ). But i don't know from where to start first, i am completely confused.
please help me. suggest me best resource ,website,certification etc. please suggest me how to approach it, from where to start first..

To start with serialization, thread and other core concepts of java, you should go for OCPJP(Oracle Certified Professional Java SE programmer) certification.
It will make you study these concepts thoroughly and test your knowledge too.
