Microsoft has Index Server that does indexing of the website and search can be done on it.

Does Sun have Index Server?
On nny other way to generate index of HTML / JSP pages and later on they will be use to search?

I do not believe that there are any Sun products of this nature -- at least none that I know of. However, there are open source Java projects. I've moved this to Other Open Source Projects for further discussion.

Hi
there are more than one indexing/searching solution in java , in open source ,
you can see a complete list of them in :
http://www.java-source.net/open-source/search-engines
most of this search engine (crawlers )are based on Lucene and apche project.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
