Hello Everyone ,

I need to learn and understand words like "Rustle" , "Gargle" , "Muffle" , "hum" , "Crackle" etc.. Although , I already know meaning of these words and I am comfortable in using them but I need complete list of such words. I searched on Google but I could not find complete list. So Requesting your help on finding them.

I hope I can also ask some English grammar related questions here.

regards,

And of course, let's not forget all the Batman related action words like Biff!, Pow!, or Zap!. In fact, I am pretty sure this sub-list (of noisy fighting words) is pretty long just by itself...

There isn't going to be a complete list. Languages don't really work that way, especially the English language. However here's some links I googled up:

http://www.macmillandictionary.com/thesaurus-category/british/Loud-sounds

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_animal_sounds

http://dictionary.cambridge.org/topics/the-senses-and-sounds/noise-and-noisy/

As for English grammar questions, sure, why not? (But remember that this is the Meaningless Drivel forum, so your questions might be used for other people's amusement. But not at your expense, of course, that wouldn't Be Nice.)
