Hi All -

I have a small swing desktop app communicating with webserver, so far so good.
Now, I need to secure the communication, so Google it and created openssl cert, and configure tomcat https with port 8443, but I am not able to launch my swing application, it gives error, "unable to communicate with server"
I think, I need to do something with client application jars etc., i was able to run in the browser the same URL

Any help me to guide me with steps greatly appreciated. thanks

So the desktop uses HTTP to communicate with the server? Which URL did you use before to access the server? Which one are you using now? In which line of code is the exception thrown?
