Have you tried searching for a suitable api? or are you trying to write your own?

I don't see a fundamental difference between hiding text in an image and hiding an image in an image - except that an image
has a lot more data, so the image to hide it in probably needs to be a lot bigger.

but fundamentally, isn't it the same problem? "text" is a series of bytes...'A' = 65, 'B' = 66, etc. you hide those bytes in the image.

an image is just a series of bytes, either a series of gray-scale values or triplets of red-blue-green values. surely you could serialize the image into individual byte values, then hide those in your image, extract them, and re-assemble into an image.

I know almost nothing about steganography, but I can't see a fundamental difference here.
