changing onclick function of existing button element

HI,
I do have form with two textboxes and each text box is having search button
i need to search value of 2nd text box using value selected in first text box so i need value of 1st select text box in on click function of 2nd search button



so i want to modify onClick function of 2nd search button

i tried below but nothing happens




am i doing it wrong ? is ther any other alernative

As we have no idea whatsoever what showMEChooser() is, how could we possibly help?

leave it i solved my problem in other way

As a company policies i can not post entire code here which makes me difficult to tell you what real problem is ? which makes you difficult to understand what real problem is .

but that's good which make me try till i get success ...
