Hello,

I started preparing in December of 2013. When i started preparing this exam my knowledge level in JPA is very poor.

Purchase an read Pro JPA 2: Mastering the Java Persistence API book 2 times
Read complete JSR 338(JPA 2.1) and workout examples
Purchased enthuware JPA+ V6 for OCE-JPAD 6.0

I recommend read the book and JSR carefully. They have many good examples
Enthuware is a good exam mock and i have not found great mistakes

In the real exam i've found problems similar to:

Thanks

Well done !!!

P.S. why you read JPA 2.1 specification? Probably the exam covers 2.0

Hi!

Thanks koilraj abraham and Mikalai Zaikin!

Mikalai Zaikin,
I just wanted to read the most updated version... because i use JPA daily
I've not realized much difference between JSR 317 and JSR 338 (looking through the summary)... for those who want to save time for proof, the JSR 317 is more worthwhile
Another point is that the topic "Introducing the Auction Application" is not explicitly covered on exam... the examples from Pro JPA 2: Mastering the Java Persistence API book are very complete for this purpose... i didn't read anything about it
