No Mother's Day moose ?

My spouse came to the ranch to see the mother's day moose and there isn't one. She won't even let me talk about programming but she loves the moose She says to tell the ranch that not having a mother's day moose is very sad....

No, Mothering Sunday being in March. We never celebrate Mother's Day in this country, which is why none of us in Britain even noticed.

Chances of Paperchase knowing are negligible. Everywhere else seems to celebrate Mother's Day; it is only us who have a different festival three weeks before Easter (as you say, usually in March).

Hm ... June? Just asking because over here father's day is celebrated on Ascension Day, which would be May 29 this year. Not sure if any other countries do the same, but apparently not the UK and its former dominions.

Wow, a little program would be needed just to keep track of all the father's and mother's days. Those holiday moose would be very busy. Then there is parenting day and sibling day.

I think it would be good if the moose heal was replaced with a motherly head. As if "mother's day" may have been confused with "mothers season". Same for father's day.
