Hi all

I am returning to this forum after 6 years. Time flies! With the help of this forum I was able to pass SCJP (1.4 - 2005) and SCWCD (Version 5). Now it is time to add SCJWS. I know these questions were asked multiple times in this forum but I would really appreciate if you could answer these question.

1. Would you recommend SCJWS 5 or 6? Based on what you recommend I already have SCJP (1.4) and SCWCD (Version 5). Do I meet the pre-requisite?
2. What are the study materials you would recommend? I already read few posts. I see that Mikalai Zaikin notes is default. but in his signature I see only Version 5.

Thank you in advance!

Hi!

Welcome back!

Always go for the latest: version 6. Yes, any version of SCJP is enough.

What are the study materials you would recommend? I already read few posts. I see that Mikalai Zaikin notes is default. but in his signature I see only Version 5.

It is good to read a few other posts in this forum as they give important tips. If you check the ScdjwsLinks you will find a URL to MZ version 6 notes. Also note that there are still a lot of version 5 questions in the exam. It is better to read both.

Apart from that when it comes to important specs and articles you can find a nice sum up here.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I see Mikalai's notes in PDF for version 5. Is there a PDF for version 6?

Mikalai

In one of your post you have mentioned that we should be able to export to PDF ourselves from the quiz. Could you please let me know how(the steps)?

Thank you
