Hi guys, I'm currently copying css from other website using firebug on specific components. However, since developers apply properties of specific tags in 'bulk', I copy duplicate codes. What I want is will not copy again the code if it is already existing from previous tags that I copied.

For example, the website has the following HTML:
<div><ul></ul></div>

then it has the following css:

div,ul{
///properties goes here.
}

First I inspected the element div and copied its css. No problem so far.

However, I also want to copy the css of ul. After I inspect the code, the said css will be displayed in firebug. Which I don't need to copy anymore since I already copied it on div tag.

Is there a way to do this?

Are you copying the styles out of the debugger? Why don't you just download the CSS file(s)?

Seriously? That's what you're going with? I prefer this tiny ad:
