Hi,

I am attached java source code in eclipse. When ever i put break point in jdk methods.

example, equals() of AbstractList class

I am getting following error

Unable to install break point in java.util.AbstractList due to missing line numbers attribute

Eclipse: Kepler version
Jdk 1.7

In window--preferences--java--compiler, The add line numbers check box is checked in classfile generation tab

Please help me

Did you configure a proper JDK in Eclipse? Because the Java SE class files delivered with a JRE are compiled differently and do not contain any location information. The class files delivered with a JDK are compiled such that the location information is available inside the class files. I believe you can control this for your own code using the various -g flags for javac.
