Hi All,

I am struggling big time with a current requirement where my old application configured and built on Jboss need to be migrated to Oracle weblogic 10.3.6(11g).
First and for most thing to start with is build.xml.
Kindly suggest what areas do I would have to look into while migration. Also suggest specific changes to be done in build.xml in order to incorporate changes in sync with Jboss build.xml.

Regards,
Kanak

Welcome to CodeRanch!

This question is too general. A build.xml file could have anything in it. It could have lots of JBoss specific parts or could create a generic war/ear. If I had this task, I'd read the build.xml and see if there are references to JBoss libraries. I'd also look if the application (not just the build.xml) used any JBoss specific functionality.

Then I'd try deploying the ear/war to Weblogic and see what errors I got.
