I enjoyed Amazon's 1999 look. Anyone need a whoopee cushion? And Google Maps pac man on the streets.

The Amazon one had me actually laughing out loud. I've been an Amazon customer since 1996, so I recognized and remembered the retro look.

The fake stories flooding slashdot didn't strike me as funny for some reason.

What Amazon did sounds great! I bought yesterday a book on German Amazon, sadly, they didn't update their layout. I wish I could see it.

One thing I almost believed in is this one: http://itsfoss.com/microsoft-announces-linux-os/. A friend dropped this link on my Facebook before I even know it's 1st April. The article itself was a little suspicious for me, but the real wtf moment was when I followed this link: http://go.linuxfoundation.org/who-writes-linux-2012 and saw

Later I have realized that Microsoft Linux is a joke, but that link from Linux Foundation... it still has Microsoft in their PDF. Now I am really not sure if the part about Microsoft contributions it is a joke or not!

MS's contributions are to facilitate Linux virtual servers running on MS machines, what else?

Whose rules are you playing by? This tiny ad doesn't respect those rules:
