What sort of style does the course adopt? How much time do you talk? How many diagrams of classes do you show? Do you have lots of links to the API documentation?

I suppose 1/3rd time should be spent on theory and rest on practicals. Each topic should be explained using some practicals demo and some more useful API methods.

Hi Ritchie

The course has about 13 hours of video but there are plenty of practical exercises and we expect most people take around 4 days to study everything.

There are lots of diagrams (actually animations showing things like how hashmaps work) and yes we do refer to the JavaDocs and show you where to find further information. We even look at the Java Source code at one point to understand how the arrays that back an ArrayList are resized!

Thanks for your interest and hope that answers your questions!

Regards

Matt
