Hi All,

I am surprised where is Java Ring now. Is this project stopped or failed ?

For those who does not know about it find an article on it in below article.

An introduction to the Java Ring - Article in 1998 By Stephen M. Curry

That was 17 years ago. There are rings being developed, but I am not sure how similar they are to what you linked to.

I still have one around here somewhere - that was the first Java in a chip that I know of but there have been many more attempts.

I suspect the idea of a Java specific processor was overtaken by the vastly increased capacity of general purpose chips which can run Java.

I can still find some in eBay, just go there and search for Java Ring. I ordered mine and i hope it is my size. But, i think this project was stopped for some reason.
