I have tried to use annotations @Resource, @PostConstuct and @PreDestroy of JSR-250 but none of them seem to work as expected with Spring 4.1. Using them doesn't result in any errors or exceptions either.
It does say that Spring supports JSR-250 annotations, then what's the issue?

Was the bean containing @PostConstruct successfully registered into the context?
