Guys, I 'm developing a web application with Java 6 , Spring, Struts 2. I need to activate the webcam and take a picture and save it to the database. Does anyone know how I can do or library could be used to activate the Webcam and take the picture from my web application ?

Thank you.

regards

Seeing as this needs to be client-side (I doubt you want to take pictures of the system administrator), you first need to tell us what language your application client is written in. HTML5 introduced ways to access capturing devices.

As a side note: Why Java 6? Why not Java 8?
