HI,

I have installed Eclipse Juno Service Release 1 and apache-tomcat-6.0.35,JDK 7

when i start the server in eclipse status shows as started but when i hit the localhost:8081 getting HTTP Status 404 page.

please help me , what are all the changes i have to do for running any web application

The 404 error comes from Tomcat when it can't find the addressed resource. Exactly what URL are you using.

As I mentioned elsewhere, using an IDE will have a negative effect on your learning of servlets.
