I upgraded my 4S to IOS8 a few months back, and was not enthusiastic about the result. One problem I had was my battery drained faster than before. Another problem was apps take more time to load. IOS9 was a pleasant surprise for me. I can use my battery longer. Like I have a new battery installed.
