how do i get the output in window console(eclipse console) output in a different color

Hi

just wanted to know as to how we can have the output in the eclipse console window in any other desired color other than the default black color.

Hi, try to check in Eclipse: Window > Preferences > General > Appearance > Colors and Fonts

Do you mean on Eclipse or the computer's terminal.command line?

it's the console output window of eclipse. infact knowing of how to do it in command line via the code would also be helpful in doing that via in eclipse. Correct me if am wrong...

Preferences -> Run/Debug -> Console
Here you can change the output, error, in text colors along with the background.

I think this will be better suited on the IDE forums. Moving...

This is where you have to change it: Run/Debug>Console>Standard out text color
It works, I tried it myself.
