set the property value for running Thread

How to set the property value using System.setProperties() for running Thread from Test class.

public class Sample {


 public void sample () {
  // do something

  Runnable runnable = new Runnable() {
      @Override 
      public void run() {
            // do something

      }
 }
}

public class Test {
   Sample sample = new Sample();
   sample.sample();

   Thread.currentThread.run();

}

Since that method takes a java.util.Properties instance, as a parameter, perhaps you should start looking at that.

The Properties class is used to load/save property files. It also supports an XML version (of the file), which arguably is not a property file, but ... oh well.

test() method does not take any parameter.
