Hi,

I have taken Java 8 certification voucher. Looks like it is common for all java certification as not exam name is mentioned on it.

I have a question,
I already certified (SCJP 5) so preparing for upgrade exam. So 1ZO 813 is same as 1ZO 808 or 809?

What are the books to follow?

Please guide me.

Thanks,
Seetaram

Seetaram,
Welcome to CodeRanch!

Yes. The 813 is like a "shortcut" for you taking both the 808 and 809. You wind up with the same cert either way. And taking the 813 is one less exam to take to get to OCP 8.

I'm biased in that Scott and I wrote a book on the OCP 8. We have an appendix that covers topics on the 813 that aren't on the 809. See this blog post about the differences. Make sure you study from a resource that covers this extra material regardless!
