This past week I decided to upgrade same js files like jqGrid and chosen.

After deploying many computers were either not displaying the grids or displaying them all funky.

If I cleared the browser cache(IE) it seems to fix the issue.

Is there anyway I can do this thru the application and not have to do it manually on each machine?

One tactic is including a version number in the script file names to defeat any cached version.

That is assuming that you want browsers to use the cached version between updates.

You can defeat cache entirely by turning off cache control in the responses. Or, a tired and old, but effective, trick of putting a random number on the URL as a query.

So it takes a day for light to pass through this glass? So this was yesterday's tiny ad?
