Hello all. Can someone tell me the naming convention for zip file, jar file, bat/cmd file used for a project.

There are no standard conventions, it depends on the context in which they are used.

I also don't think it really matters for most of these, although it might be worth to include version information in the names.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
